We listen, act, and transform
I am trauma-focused therapist trained in Internal Family Systems Model of therapy - effective in identifying trauma, witnessing these experiences, & unburdening them from the client — which informs my therapeutic lens. Additionally, I am trained in CBT, DBT, and MDMA-Assisted Therapy (awaiting FDA approval).
I find it rewarding seeing my clients begin to gain trust, not only in the therapeutic relationship, but in themselves. I do not take an expert approach with my client, but rather a partnership in working together so the client finds their confidence to move life in the direction desired.
As a trauma therapist, I enjoy the deeper work of healing from the inside out. The “inside” I refer to is our emotional landscape based on the blueprint of our perceptions gained from experiences. That blueprint is the patterns we frame together due to the emotional signature of our experiences. Often, those patterns are put in place without any consideration for accuracy, or any revisiation for modification or upgrade when needed. It is crucial to identify our internal patterns so that reframing what is no longer applicable can begin. When I work with clients, I see a whole picture of the human experience and can follow the threads of thought, emotion, and behavior in ways that clients often miss in their own awareness. It is a privilege and honor to facilitate self-awareness in my clients and to watch people rethread their authentic selves back together.
